Who

Andrew Bahlmann is a mergers and acquisitions specialist and co-founder of Deal Leaders International, a South African advisory firm helping business owners plan and execute successful exits. With over a decade of experience in sell-side advisory, Andrew has guided founders, shareholders, and private equity teams through high-stakes transactions across Africa and abroad.

Andrew’s core belief, when it comes to M&A, is:

Most sales and buyouts are ruined not by incompatible numbers but by personality clashes. And my job is to teach sellers how to make their legacy stand strong in good hands even after the deal is closed

Why

Andrew felt as if he had met a dead-end, only marketing his company, but not focusing enough on his own personal expertise. He decided to use our expertise to establish a consistent, memorable voice in a niche often dominated by corporate speak. We were brought in to:

→ Build a content system that reflects his nuanced and deeply psychological view of M&A.

Expand visibility beyond LinkedIn into organic search and forums.

Launch a podcast and publication platform that deepens audience trust.

What

→ Marketing strategy that aligns Andrew’s personal brand with Deal Leaders International’s market positioning.

→ Content architecture for LinkedIn combining personal reflections, market commentary, and narrative-driven posts.

→ Cohesive tone of voice and visual identity across LinkedIn, Medium, and podcast materials.

→ Article creation and publication workflow with automated distribution via LinkedIn Articles, Medium, and email.

→ Community management on Quora and Reddit to boost organic discoverability and long-term SEO.

→ Podcast scripting and launch support for Built to Exit, centered on untold deal stories and founder journeys

Production of Build to Exit Podcast

→ Develop a strategic podcast concept that aligns with Andrew’s brand, insightful and reflective, while avoiding oversimplified M&A explanations.

→ Create a sustainable tone of voice and structure for solo episodes that Andrew can consistently maintain without diluting his positioning.

→ Script the introduction episodes to balance expert framing with wide accessibility, filled with compelling hooks but never sounding like “M&A 101.”

→ Integrate guest episodes into the podcast architecture with narrative transitions consistent with the broader storytelling goals of the series.

→ Partner with podcast production Saspod Agency to manage technical recording, editing, and sound optimization, while overseeing content direction and structure.

→ Provide end-to-end operational support: from topic planning and title ideation to publishing and embedding in supporting articles.
